U. PURPOSES.
The Baikon Regional Festival of the Alternative Theatrical Shapes is organised in order to:
- To inspire the constructive pdwer at the contemporary theatrical art in the Balkan region
- To Improve the communications between the Balkan theatrical creators.
- To realize on exchange of creative ideas
- To offer the public a meeting with the alternative theatrical art.
The festivaaaal "Theatre of peoce11 doesni have any polhcal objectives The festival has for an objective to bring together the Balkan cultures by the power of the theatrical art.
i~I, CONOmONS OF PARTIOIPATION.
Bulgarian theatrical companies, that wish to participate, will be selected. The foceing companies will be selected by video tapes of the performances or by the recommendation of competent instance of the corresponding country
- The performances can be based either on the fol~ore dramaturgy to the corresponing country or on classical ploys.
- the alternative theatntar means and devices ore obligatory about the performance. The theatrricol companies aqd their personnel must be up 10 people.
iv SELECPON.
The selectionst chooses the performonces which will participate in the festival.
- Standard appucation for participating Wi be accepted up to 31 07.99
- The theatrical company which wants to be selected pays the expences of the selecflonist for travelling and lodging. (Only for Bulgarian troupes~
The foreign theatrical companies will be seiected by video tapes of the performances, by the recommendation of competent instance of me corresponding country or other materials.
VFINANCIAL SECURITY
The President of tthe Enterprising Commiflee and Executive manager moke sure the adherence to specifications of the festival and prizing funds.
The Enterprising Commiffee will confer the following awards:
- An Award for dramaturgy (only for living creator)
- An Award for staging and for the most originat stage conceptions
- An Award for mole part
- An Award for female port
MI present theatrical companies receive a symbol and a honorary diploma.
VA LANGUAGES.
The plays are performed in corresponding native language, they count on power of visual suggestIon and actors presence. If it is possible the translation is guaranteed.
