The Balkan regional festival of the alternative theatrical shapes will be corned out in the city Razgrad from 14 to 16 September 1999 After a selecton, state and private theatrical companies from Bulgaria, Turkey Greece, Macedonia, Bosna and Herzegovina, Croatia, Serbia and Romonia can paricipate in the festival.

The idea of "Theatre of peace" is to oppose the theatrical art to war and violence. The festival Is being organized by Enterprising Committee consisting of following members:

President - engineer Venelin Uzunov - mayor of municipality Razgrad Vice-President - DimUar Dlmitrov (actor, producer, p!aywright representative of the International festival INTERPLAY Australia for the Soikon region)

Executive manager - Kossio Stanev (actor, producer director of arts and general manager of the state theatre "Anton Strashimirov"- Razgrad.

Members: K/ha Dickova - secretary of municipality Razgrad.

IvankaBatchorova - head of department "Culture' of municipality Razgrad.

Poumiano Ronkova - secretary of the community centre "Razvifie" Razgrod.

The organizational activity connected with the Balkan regional festival of the alternative theatrical shapes 'Theatre of peace" is put into effect by operatve staff. The operative staff is appointed by the Enterprising Commiffee and leaded by

The Vice-president accomplishes the selection directly or indirectly (by video tape) He is the selectionist of the festival. He is charged of the adherence to the festival's creatve requirements and of the participant performances. The festival 'Theatre of peace" will be held in three days in the city of Razgrad (in the theatrical building ^"Anton Strashimirov" and as an exception in near villages.
